44 moves for mechanical work

44 on arrival at Keighley (Mark Whitehead)
Fylde 44, its penultimate Atlantean, joined the ranks of preserved buses in 2015. At the age of 31 it had been retired by Irlam Roylettes and has spent a couple of years in store in Bolton. During June 2017 it moved to Keighley Bus Museum where a replacement engine and gearbox is expected to be fitted in the near future. It is hoped 44 can then run again, initially still in its black livery until it can return to a more fitting blue scheme.
